Suggested Fields for Video Abstracts
1. *Innovative Surgical Techniques*:
– Demonstration of new or modified MIS techniques, particularly for congenital anomalies.
2. *Complex Case Management*:
– Step-by-step walkthroughs of challenging surgical cases solved using MIS or other advanced approaches.
3. *Educational Demonstrations*:
– Teaching videos focusing on fundamental techniques, troubleshooting, or optimizing outcomes in MIS.
4. *Advances in Technology*:
– Use of robotic surgery, endoscopy, or novel tools in pediatric surgery.
5. *Complication Management*:
– Videos showcasing intraoperative challenges and how they were addressed during MIS procedures.
6. *Outcomes of MIS*:
– Comparisons of MIS with open surgery in terms of clinical outcomes, recovery, and quality of life.
7. *Preoperative and Postoperative Care*:
– Videos on MIS preparation, patient positioning, or enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols.

Guidelines for Video Abstracts:
– *Length*: Short video (e.g., 5-7 minutes), with clear narration.
– *Structure*:
1. Introduction of the case or technique.
2. Objectives of the video.
3. Detailed surgical steps.
4. Key learning points and outcomes.
– *Ethical Considerations*:
– Ensure patient privacy and consent.
– Avoid identifiable patient data.
Guidelines for Submission
1. All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
2. Only original work can be submitted, abstracts previously published or presented at other international meetings are not eligible for submission.
3. An abstract cannot exceed a limit of 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
4. Abstracts should be structured into four main sections:
Aim
Methods
Results
Conclusion
5. Case reports should be structured into three main sections:
Aim
Case description
Conclusions
6. Up to two figures can be included as part of the abstract.
7. Standard abbreviations do not need explanation. Otherwise, abbreviations must be defined in brackets after they are first used in the text.
8. The authors are responsible for the content and the language quality of the abstract.
9. Abstracts can be submitted to the congress topic only, to be only related to “Congenital Anomalies” clinical management and research focus, double submitted abstracts will have to be withdrawn.
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstract by e-mail by February 25th, 2025.
If changes to your submitted abstract are necessary please contact us at any time via CAICC@nileofhope.org before the abstract submission deadline. Please do not submit your abstract more than once.
The physical presentation is excepted to be in an accepted technical form in form of PPT or Prezi and its duration is around 7 minutes (5 mins for presentation and 2 mins for discussion), more details will be sent to the accepted abstracts.

Author’s Registration
Please note that the presence of the author is mandatory for each accepted contribution. All confirmed contributions will be presented at the congress venue. The presenting author will not have to pay the registration fee for the conference sessions. On the contrary, attendance of the workshops needs to have prior registration
